Recording Update

The recording session at Bassline Studio was productive, to say the least. We laid down three songs, including a brand new song we tentatively called "Early" for some reason or another, that we've never played live. In fact it's so new that while Ryan was recording vocals to another song, Justin and I had to go finish up the lyrics in another room. Even though that was mildly successful, we we're still missing half of a third verse and a bridge. We finished it, but Paul likened it to writing an essay the day before it's due. Not the Scholars...we wait until 10 minutes before we have to turn it in.

And if you're looking for something to do this weekend, head down to Kurt & Clyde's (just a half block north of Sokol Auditorium) on Saturday, Nov. 29th. Paul and I will be joined by Nate Hall of Third Frate for a show as our indie-rock, anti-establishment band Death of a Taxpayer. We're opening up for The Brothers (Matt and Mike Geiler) at 9pm, so it's sure to be an interesting night of music.
