Half of the "Mini-Tour as a Two-Man Band" Reviewed

If you're curious about how our mini-tour to College Station, TX went, then feel free to click here to read about it.

It's a good read, so allow 7 and a half minutes of your day to be devoted to it.

Vote For Ten O'Clock Scholars for the OEA'S!

In case you are unaware of how cool Omaha is...and really how could you be with a slogan like "O! What A City,"...one of its new claims to fame is an awards show that celebrates local music, art, and theatre called the Omaha Entertainment Awards.

Now aside from the fact that everyone, including the founders, calls them the OEA Awards, but OEA stands for Omaha Entertainment Awards, it's a pretty cool thing.

Voting is initially open to the public, with all write-in votes, then the finalists attend an awards show and the winner is picked by a group of "specialists," or "special people." This is the 3rd year of the awards and we have yet to be nominated...but we got a good feeling about this year...we have to, otherwise we'll have nothing to live for.

So, if you feel up to it, head over to the OEA website and vote for us in the Best Alternative/Indie or Best Rock category, whichever you prefer. And if you don't know other bands in other categories, you can leave those blank...or just put us in there and see if we win Best Folk band...whatever. You will have to enter your name and address, but I can assure you that it's ok to do that and they won't use that information to start a foreign bank account in your name.

Thanks for the support and tell your friends to vote for us! (And if you want to throw our labelmates Third Frate in the Best New Artist category, that'd be awesome too!)
