SRL

Hey all, if you've been trying to find a place on your radio dial to listen to music off of our new album, then you need not worry. All you have to do is send an e-mail to 89.7 the River's PlanetO show (7-9pm every Sunday) and request that they play some TOS. We can't really do it because that's a tad on the desperate side, so get that open dialogue between you and a radio DJ going by sending them an e-mail so that we get some more airtime, thus getting us more fans, resulting in us playing more shows. You see how this works?

They have a promotional demo with all four of our most "radio friendly" hits off the new album...think "Smile," "Don't," "Indecision," or "Satisfied"...otherwise you'll just get everyone confused.

The Weekend In Review

Alright, we've got some reviews up from the "CD Release Weekend Extravaganza." Check out the past section to read all about the fun that you either don't remember, or didn't see in the first place. You may want to start with the show on the 12th and then move to the 13th because it might make more sense that way.

Pictures to come in a few days, so just check back when you have a free moment.

In Stores Nearly Now

A HUGE thanks to everyone who came out this weekend to support the release of our new CD "Bridges and Brighter Days," and to our friends in Third Frate who opened both shows for us (those fools rock the hiz-ouse...is that how you spell it...hizz-ous...whatever). We had a great time with this tour of cities that we regularly play.

However, if by some chance you didn't make it out to one of the shows, no need to worry. This Tuesday, or tomorrow for those of you who only use a sun dial, our CD will be released in all six Homer's locations. You can pick it up at any one of their fine stores, and, if you prefer no contact with the outside world, eventually you can get it online (hopefully that will happen tomorrow as well). Or, if you prefer interacting with the band, just find one of us somewhere and we'll sell you a copy too.

Look for a review of our crazy weekend in the coming days.

O! What A Weekend

It's 1:30 a.m.

We Just finished our CD release weekend.

We just got a ride home from the final show with my parents because of our high intoxication level.

If that's not rock 'n' roll, then what is...

(More to come when the affects of this weekend wear off.)

TOS All Over Nebraska

Since the CD release parties are coming up in roughly a week, we've been doing a lot of promotion all over Omaha and Lincoln to get the word out. Homers stores all over Omaha have posters and flyers for the May 13th show, as well as many local music stores and venues. Lincoln is soon to follow (hopefully).

Also, some of our new music is hitting the internet and the airwaves this week. Head over to Star City Scene and you'll find that "Smile" is third in the rotation on SCS Radio and "Indecision" is number 21. Not that this is any type of ranking system, but who cares...we're there. Internet radio station The Source, run by local TV station KXVO is now playing Ten O'Clock Scholars in their rotation. Not sure exactly what songs or when...but...we're there. There's also talk that we will be the KXVO 10 O'Clock News' band of the week from May 8th-12th, which means there would be some video of us and our music played every night that week on the news. Possibly a story about us recording the disc as well.

And finally, this Sunday on 89.7 the River's local music show, Planet O, they'll be playing one of the songs off the new disc and plugging the show. So tune into that Sunday from 7-9pm, and listen until you hear the soothing sounds of us because...we're there.
