The End Of The Week

We've got plenty of stuff going on this weekend, which means you should too. Back to back shows Friday and Saturday, in different cities mind you, mean there are plenty of Scholars to go around.

Friday we'll be at Shea Riley's, in what will be our last scheduled Omaha show until August. Plus this is a big one because we're playing with one of Omaha's best new bands, Thousand Houses (which features members of Blue Moon Ghetto, The 9's, and Chris Saub Trio), as well as one of Omaha's best known bands, Vago. Be sure to come out early for the great night of music. It starts at 9pm, is 18+, and costs $5.

Saturday we'll be down at Knickerbockers for the first time in awhile and our first Saturday there in a long while. That's also a 18+, $5, 9pm show.

You do the showing up, we'll play the rock and roll.

And don't forget, you can request your favorite Ten O'Clock Scholars tunes every Sunday night from 7-9pm on 89.7 the River's "Planet O" show. Our latest single, "Please Baby Please," has been getting a few spins over the past couple weeks.

My Kingdom For A Horse...Show...Horse Show

No news about horses, despite the title, but we do have a few new shows that we've booked recently.

The first of which is coming May 9th at Sokol Underground. We'll be opening up Blucymon's CD release party and also playing with Kyle Harvey, two bands we've never played with before. It's an all ages show that starts at 8pm and it's only $5.

Be sure to check out the shows page as we're scheduled to play with some great bands in the next few months.
