Big News About Our Colorado Tour

You heard correctly...if you were listening to the grapevine...we are heading to Colorado the first weekend in December to be part of the Keystone 36 Hour Music Festival! We were one of twelve bands selected for the festival and are stoked about taking our music to the Rocky Mountains. I believe we're the only band from Omaha or Lincoln in the festival and we'll be sharing the festival stage with some big time acts, such as Saliva and The Railbenders, along with many others.

So, if you're into road trips come on out to Keystone, CO. We'll actually be playing the "Sunrise" time slot on Saturday morning (Dec. 2nd) from 6 A.M. to 8 A.M. at the Green Light (a venue at the base of the mountain). Yeah, I know, crazy time for a rock show, but seeing as how there's 36 straight hours of skiing and music, there's tons of people around the mountain for sunrise. And, we're going to rock 6 A.M. like it's never been rocked before...because, honestly, 6 A.M. probably never has been rocked before...so we're what you call pioneers...like Paul in this picture.

If you're in the area or know people in the area please tell them to come out because it's going to be one hell of a party.

Oh What A Night...

it was early November...back in '63...wait, what?

Anyways, a big thanks to everyone who showed up at Shea Riley's last night. We had a blast and hopefully you dug the music enough so that we don't have to give out free t-shirts just to get you to shows anymore.

And, big news on the horizon in the form of a music festival in Colorado. More information to come, so keep checking back for updates.

If you need a copy of our new CD, "Bridges and Brighter Days," be sure to check out any area Homer's location, or order it through Homer's online. Eventually that will help us record more music this January.

Hey oh eh oh, it's on the radio the radio

Be sure to tune in to 89.7 the River this Sunday to hear the Scholars' latest radio release "1:52" on the Planet O Show. That program airs from 7-9 and we should be heard somewhere in the second hour of the show. And, if you don't hear us...be sure to request "1:52" throughout the week so you can hear it "unexpectedly" next Sunday.

And I hope all you Poppleton fans enjoyed the headline...and by that I mean Paul and Ryan are probably the only ones that are going to get it.
