Sure, He's Just the Drummer...But...

...if you're interested at all, our very own drummer will be hosting the KXVO 10 O'Clock News for the next two weeks in some type of attempt to entertain you...while not drumming. So tune in if you can and check out Stein's ability to fill a 30 minutes show by standing infront of a green screen AND reading moving lines on a teleprompter.

And yes, the above paragraph was written in third person...but no one else cares enough to post on the website.

The Old Scheduling Switcheroo

Just to avoid mass hysteria we thought we'd let you know that due to some scheduling conflicts our date for the Maggie McCall's Battle of the Bands has been changed from Sunday, July 30th (a.k.a. River Riot '06) to Sunday August 6th (a.k.a. Our Takeover of the World Day...'06). Apparently they didn't think that it was a good idea to have us go head to head with 311...or they just had tickets and wanted to go to the show. Either way, it works out well for us.

But we really would like it to work out well for you, so still try and make it out to the show because we will only move on if people vote for us, and people will only vote for us if they're there.

Oh, and you might like to know this:

Bringing in fans translates into drink sales, and drink sales translates into vote tickets, which translate into votes for us. And, check out these drink specials that they've secretly e-mailed us about, but we're going to tell you about anyway:

• We are tentatively looking at a special on Absolute Premium Vodka (all flavors) cocktails for $3 each and Import/Specialty Beers for the price of a domestic ($2.75 bottles / $2.50 drafts).
• Plus, we will be raffling off cool beer and liquor stuff and $50 bar tabs each week.
