Podcast This...
So "The Rick" called me up a couple days ago looking for some fresh blood (not to be confused with Sifl and Olly's 'Fake Blood') for his podcast. A podcast, for those of you who don't know, is pretty much a downloadable internet radio show.So I took the time to produce comedy gold, as well as plug the band. Which means you should go here and check it out. It might take a little time to download, but I'll be dammed if it's not the funniest thing this side of the Mississippi (...depending on which side you're on when you listen to it...) and you get to here TOS music! What a world!

The Best Parties Are Minus Connealy
We had one of the best band bonding experiences we've ever had out partying on Ryan's behalf last night. And it was without Connealy, so it was like the "good old days."Wait...no, that's right...
Also, it should be noted that Paul is not the only rapper in the band, for Ryan is the REAL slim shady.

Old Country Water Buffet
So I got to thinking that our PureVolume website is really not being used to its full potential because the songs that we have for your listening pleasure are ones that are already available for downloading on our site. Seeing as how I'm very keen on things like this, and hip with all the cool kids downtown, I've decided to change the song choice on said purevolume site. You can now download "Take Me Back" and I was planning on putting up "All We Do Is Lounge"...but since that's already on our site now, I have one more trick up my sleeve.Plus, the only people who check out the purevolume site are people that come to this site. So that way when I put the back catalog of the Scholars up on a music website, no one in the band gets pissed.
Now I'm sure the band will be pissed at me for putting up our old, slightly humorous songs, but I do what I want. Tell them to book a show and then come talk to me.
I'm not even sure if I followed this post. Ah, irony...

Push 'em Back, Shove 'em Back...Way Back!
Big change in schedule. Our big party in Lincoln that we're playing has been PUSHED BACK A WEEK TO AUGUST 19th. However, we did find out that everyone and anyone, and everyone who's anyone are welcome to attend. There should be a map with directions to the party up on the website soon. Ryan Loves E-Mail
Not much in the way of news to report, but if you're looking for an invite/directions/"what the hell's going on" e-mail update for the August 12th shindig, just e-mail Ryan because he needs to be bothered once-and-awhile (and it's debatable as to whether or not he checks his e-mail).As for our music, it still remains where we left it, three new tunes, only one of which that has actually been played live, are all possibilities for upcoming gigs and the local compilation CD that we're looking to produce.
We'll let you know if we go into the studio...well, not you individually, but the collective you...as in you all...or as they say in the south, chimichanga's.
