Texas Bound
Well, the big news on our non-existant newspaper is that we're heading to Texas....College Station, Texas to be exact. Why you ask? Well, we're playing in the 2007 Northgate Music Festival, which justifies an exclamation mark! So, March 23rd we're packin' up a van and a trailer and we're heading south on the 850 mile, 13 hour trip. The festival actually runs from March 22nd - 24th, so theoretically we'll arrive Friday night in College Station and breathe in the festival for a little bit and prepare for the onslaught that is our Saturday show on the 24th. That's right, we're playing the last day of the festival, and will be one of the last bands to play outside of Fitzwilly's before Sister Hazel closes out the festival.
We're pumped, basically because we have no idea what to expect. Hopefully it's not like every other time we've played outside...which has consisted of either playing in a driveway or someone's backyard for a graduation party...pretty sure it should be a tad bit cooler than that.
